WorkNaa welcomes Bakary (Mansaring) Konateh as a Brand Ambassador in The Gambia. A laboratory professional and entrepreneur, he brings experience in science, business, leadership, and community development.
We are pleased to introduce Bakary (Mansaring) Konateh as a WorkNaa Brand Ambassador in The Gambia.
Bakary is a Lab Technician at The Gambia Standards Bureau (TGSB) in Banjul and a member of the Chemical Society of The Gambia. A graduate of the University of The Gambia, he combines his background in laboratory science with a strong interest in entrepreneurship and business development.
He is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Business and Entrepreneurship track and the Millennium Fellowship. Beyond his technical career, Bakary owns and operates a welding and construction business, contributing practical skills and entrepreneurial activity to his community.
His professional experience also includes serving as a Program Coordinator at a nonprofit supporting agriculture, food processing, and environmental protection. He has presented a poster at a Commonwealth Chemistry conference, advocates for climate action, and previously served as Deputy Minister of the University of The Gambia Students' Union (UTGSU).
Bakary’s diverse experience across science, entrepreneurship, environmental advocacy, and leadership reflects his commitment to innovation and community development.
